Principal's Message
Dear Parents,
Whether you are new to Levi Milton Elementary or a veteran Wildcat, welcome to the 2015-16 school year! I would like to this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I have been in education for 13 years with experience at elementary, middle, and high school. I have taught everything from PE to Math and spent many years as a coach. I have spent the last three years as the assistant principal at Southside Junior High. I am looking forward to working with each of you in building on the success that Levi Milton Elementary has known for many years. I am grateful to follow in the footsteps of the many great principals that have served the LME family.
My educational philosphy has long been just three words, “Whatever it Takes.” It is my desire to do whatever it takes to see students be successful in their academic journey. It is my belief that all students can and will be successful if we endeavor together to do whatever it takes to win in educating your child. Please know that I will do whatever it takes to help your child be successful and expect you to do the same.
I believe that students have the right to receive excellent educational opportunities in a safe and friendly enviroment. Students, at the same time, need to take responsibility for their actions and decisions. While we want LME to be a fun place to learn,we will hold our students to the same high standards and expectations for learning that this great school is known for.
Just a couple of important reminders for the 2015-2016 school year:

New times this year: 7:55 students can arrive on campus; 8:23 tardy bell will ring.

Communication is key. Please keep an open line of communication with your child’s teacher. Talk to your student about their day. Please reinforce and discuss the things that are being taught to your children each day.

Help your child learn the academic and behavioral expectations of LME.

Please keep address and phone information up to date in the office. This is how we communicate with you concerning the education of your child.
